Interpretation Services

We offer two types of interpretation services depending on your needs:

General Interpretation
For everyday communication, including hotel check-in, transportation, and general support during your trip.

For routine dialysis visits and standard procedures, general interpretation is usually sufficient.

Medical Interpretation

For hospital visits, doctor consultations, and situations requiring informed consent (IC).

Medical interpretation is recommended when unexpected situations occur, such as changes in condition during dialysis, emergencies, or when visiting other medical departments.

Medical interpretation requires specialized knowledge to accurately convey medical information and ensure clear, safe communication between patients and healthcare professionals, so patients can receive care with peace of mind.

Interpretation Services

※ Please note: On-site interpretation is an optional service and is not included in the base package. Additional fees apply based on the hours used.

  • General Interpretation from ¥ 6,400 (approximately USD 40)  / hour: For daily support like check-ins or transportation.

  • Medical Interpretation from ¥ 16,000 (approximately USD 100)/ hour: For doctor consultations or emergencies.

Our
Story

医療従事者付添い海外旅行 travel to Japan with caring
Waiting to Board Flight_edited.jpg

Life does not stop because of illness.

"Lastly, I want to revisit a place of memories. Can you accompany me on a trip? If a nurse accompanies me, I can go there without worry..." Several patients who were concerned about traveling due to chronic illness asked me to accompany them on their trips. I still regret that I couldn't help make that wish come true. I agree that people should not have their lives limited by illnesses.

Those experiences inspired me to establish Hyggeos Hokkaido. My mission is to help people receiving dialysis enjoy traveling safely and confidently, so they can create wonderful memories in Japan.

So, let's work together again to fulfill the patients' wishes, I think.
